Jonas appointed as Associate Fellow of the Max Planck School of Cognition

Jonas Obleser has been appointed as Associate Fellow of the Max Planck School of Cognition and will serve as Associate Fellow from October 2026 onwards.

The Max Planck Schools – A Joint Graduate Program of German Universities and Research Organizations are a national initiative designed to promote scientific excellence across Germany. The innovative program enhances the appeal of the German research landscape for outstanding international doctoral candidates. By fostering cross-institutional and interdisciplinary collaboration among leading experts in their fields, the Max Planck Schools successfully attract top early-career researchers and contribute to the long-term strength of the German science system.

A great honor to re-connect with the Max Planck Society this way! — Jonas had led a Max Planck Research Group from 2010 to 2015 in Leipzig, Germany. As an Associate Fellow, Jonas will contribute to the School of Cognition e.g. by co-supervising PhD candidates.
