Beginning November 1st, Judith Kunze joined the lab as a new PhD student. She will be part of the collaborative project with Henrik Oster within the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre (SFB/TRR 418) “Foundations of Circadian Medicine”, a joint initiative between the Charité Berlin and the University of Lübeck.
In her PhD, Judith will explore how ketamine’s rapid antidepressant effects interact with the internal clock and glucocorticoid systems. Judith has already been involved in ketamine-related analyses in the lab during her internship and master thesis, which sparked her interest in the link between antidepressant mechanisms and circadian regulation. She now continues this line of research as part of her doctoral studies within the SFB/TRR 418.
